North Stonington — Police on Monday seized dozens of marijuana plants and narcotics from a home at 311 Cossaduck Hill Road.
Police said members of the Statewide Narcotics Task Force received information on Monday from Groton Town police about a possible marijuana-growing operation. Groton Town police on Monday arrested Christopher Hasbrouck, 38, of 311 Cossaduck Hill Road on numerous motor vehicle charges after he led them on a brief police chase.
State police troopers from Troop E, the North Stonington resident trooper’s office and the task force executed a search-and-seizure warrant of the home.
Police said they found 50 marijuana plants, several pounds of packaged marijuana, several grams of hashish, narcotics pills and drug paraphernalia. Police also seized cultivation materials and $20,000 in cash.
Arrests are pending, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
