East Lyme — Town police Wednesday morning arrested a local man on a warrant that alleges he had more than 3 pounds of marijuana delivered to the post office.
Michael Young, 25, of 38 Charter Oak Drive was charged with conspiracy to sell a controlled substance and conspiracy to possess a controlled substance.
East Lyme police dog Knox alerted police to the suspected package that was inside a box inside the post office. Police said they were assisted by the United States Postal Service.
Young was held on a $25,000 bond and was to be arraigned today in New London Superior Court.
