Norwich — State police have identified the truck driver who died Thursday when he lost control of the tractor-trailer he was driving on the ramp on Interstate 395 North at Exit 81W.

Police said Dalley was trapped inside and was pronounced dead at the scene. The state police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team and well as the state police Truck Squad responded to the scene and conducted the investigation.
The ramp as well as Exit 28N on Route 2 were closed until about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
The accident remains under investigation.
