As part of the ongoing search for a missing 20-year-old Eastern Connecticut State University student, state police said late Friday night they had located the car linked to the investigation.
Alyssiah Marie Wiley was last heard from April 20. State police said they were contacted Wednesday by Eastern Connecticut University Police regarding her disappearance. University Police had started a search after being informed Wiley could not be located by friends or family.
State police Lt. J. Paul Vance said in a press release Friday night that the black 2009 Nissan Altima, a four-door sedan with tinted windows bearing the Connecticut license plate 297-ZOY, had been found. The press release did not give the location of the car but indicated that Wiley was still missing.
Anyone who knows any information pertaining to the investigation should notify State Police at Troop K in Colchester at (860) 537-7500.
All calls will be kept confidential.
Wiley is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, with dark hair and weighing 150 pounds.
