Ledyard - Ledyard police on Wednesday arrested a suspect in the Oct. 19 armed robbery off Indiantown Road.
David B. Dixon Jr, 23, of no certain address was charged by warrant with three counts first-degree robbery, criminal use of a firearm in a felony, criminal possession of a firearm, second-degree strangulation, threatening and third-degree larceny.
Ledyard officers traveled to Allentown, Pa., and back on Wednesday to extradite Dixon, who was taken into custody by the Lehigh County Pennsylvania Sheriffs Department, said Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein.
In addition to the Ledyard charges, Dixon was also charged with first-degree failure to appear in court and three counts of second-degree failure to appear in court for warrants held by the City of Groton police, Waterford police and Norwich police departments and the Connecticut State Police Casino Unit.
Dixon is due to appear Thursday in New London Superior Court.
