Norwich man charged in connection with shooting incident last month
Norwich - Norwich police detectives charged a 22-year-old city man Friday in connection with a shooting incident last month.
Nashawn M. Williams of 234 Broad St., Apt. B, was arrested on a warrant following an investigation into the April 21 incident. He faces charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, unlawful discharge of a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm.
Police said no one was injured in the gun fire that occurred on Hamilton Avenue. As part of their investigation, police said, they seized a handgun believed to have been used in the incident.
More arrests are expected. Williams was held on lieu of $150,000 bond and due to appear Monday in Norwich Superior Court.
