Local fire, police departments honor 9/11 lives lost in line of duty

Mystic - Members of area fire departments and police departments gathered for a ceremony to honor lives lost in the line of duty on Sept. 11, 2001. At the ceremony, held at the Mystic Fire Department B.F. Hoxie Station, each member read a list of names of the 343 FDNY firefighters and the 23 NYPD police officers who died on 9/11.
