Police are urging motorists to use caution this morning as slick road conditions are causing several accidents.

Police said that a two-car accident on Interstate 395 south between Exits 80 and 81 in Norwich has closed the right lane.

Black Ash Swamp Road at Old Colchester Road in Montville is temporary closed until a single car accident is cleared. The road will reopen when it has been sanded.

Another minor accident was reported on Route 82 in Montville when a car struck an utility pole. The pole did not break.

Other minor accidents have been reported in East Lyme, Old Lyme and Stonington. Both state and local police report that crews are out there sanding the roads.
