Stonington — Police arrested three men early Tuesday morning in connection with an armed robbery of a Mobil gas station in the Mystic section of town.
Police said they received a report at about 12:21 a.m. that a robbery had just occurred. The victim said that a weapon was displayed and an unspecified amount of cash was taken. No injuries were reported.
As a result of an investigation, police arrested three men. Cory Tolbert, 25, of 43R Long Pond Road South, Ledyard, was charged with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
Jeffrey M. Fauquet, 30, of 40 Deer Ridge Road, Stonington, and Wayne Tolbert, 22, of 43R Long Pond Road South, Ledyard, were each charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.
Fauquet was also charged with using a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.
All three men were being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond pending their arraignments Tuesday in New London Superior Court.
Police said their investigation is ongoing.
