Montville - The Board of Education will host a series of budget forums over the coming weeks to get feedback from taxpayers as it prepares the 2010-11 school budget.
Five community budget forums over four days will be held starting Tuesday.
The first forum will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Dr. Charles E. Murphy School in the library/media center.
Wednesday, a similar forum will be held in the Oakdale School gymnasium, also at 6:30 p.m.
On Jan. 20, two forums will be held, the first beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Montville High School library/media center and the second at 6 p.m. at the Leonard J. Tyl Middle School.
The last forum will be held on Feb. 2 at the Mohegan School library/media center at 6:30 p.m.
The school district administration will present a first draft of the 2010-11 budget to school board members at a special meeting on Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. in the high school media center.
