Agway owner submits storage plans

The Norwich Agway store owner has submitted plans to build a 74-unit self storage facility on land next door to the farm-and-garden-supply store at 217 Otrobando Ave.

Owner Steven Muller of Muller Real Estate LLC declined to discuss the plans Tuesday.

The application submitted to the city planning office shows 42 proposed units, 36 square and six larger rectangular units, arranged in an oval around the property. Another 32 units, 12 square and 20 larger rectangular, would be placed in the center. The project would occupy land east of the store. The plans have been forwarded to several city agencies for review.
