Norwich - The William W. Backus Hospital is presenting “Anxiety Society: Dealing with Anxiety and Stress in these Tough Times” from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 19 in the hospital’s main entrance conference rooms.
Backus mental health care providers Dr. Eric Sandberg and Justin Sleeper, a registered nurse, will be the guest speakers.
“Stress and anxiety are inevitable parts of life,” said Dr. Sandberg. “In our present culture, however, they can easily get out of hand and overwhelm other aspects of our lives. In this discussion, we will explore how to use stress and anxiety to improve our lives, along with how to keep them at a manageable level.”

The event is part of a collaboration between Backus and Norwich Regional Technical High School.
