East Lyme Public Trust Meeting

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, the East Lyme Public Trust will hold its winter meeting at 7 p.m. at the East Lyme Police Station. The speaker will be Gary Goeschel II, the East Lyme Director of Planning.

Mr. Goeschel will discuss the municipal tree nursery which has been established on the Darrow Pond property. Mr. Goeschel was instrumental in obtaining a $4,000 matching state grant to establish the nursery which will supply East Lyme, in the future, with trees for its streets and community gateways.

At the meeting, the Trust members will also discuss its new commemorative tree program- Trees for Tomorrow. June Hoye, chairperson of the project, will report on the details of the program. Further information can be found on the trustís web-site:
