EASTHADDAM-Nature Walk at Gillette Castle State Park

Learn about invasive plants. Why do they spread so quickly? Why do we care? Why are native plants important? How do you get rid of invasives? What can you do to make your garden an inviting place for native wildlife?
Kids welcome!
There is one walk at 1:30 pm and a second walk at 3:00 pm. Each walk lasts approximately one hour. Meet at the visitors center, Gillette Castle State Park. Rain or shine.
