Editor's Pick Autism Speaks Walk

Saturday  9:00 am to

Local celebrities, mascots, guests and people with autism, their families, friends and supporters are invited to Camp Harkness on Saturday for a family friendly event, Walk Now For Autism. The walk is the organization’s single most powerful force to fund vital research.
Check-in, followed by opening ceremonies, is 8:30 a.m., with the walk commencing at 10 a.m.
Autism Speaks Walk sponsors Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us will host a tented area at the walk serving as home base for the company’s mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe. They can also pick-up the “Ten Toys That Speak To Autism” handout and see these toys that can help build skills of children with autism, created in collaboration with Autism Speaks.
