Learn about Adriaen Block's voyage of discovery in 1613 of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River. It is an adventure tale of mutinies, betrayals, gun battles, burning ships, fierce economic competition and encounters with hostile Native Americans. Co-sponsored by the Essex Land Trust, the Essex Historical Society and Potapaug Audubon. Free. Refreshments served.
