October 21, 2012, Mystic, CTÖEmerson Theatre Collaborative (ETC) announces A Celebration and Reading of Zora Neale Hurstonís Writings on Sunday, October 21 at 4:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, 23 Willow Street, Mystic, CT. Featured participants include Zora Neale Hurstonís niece, Lucy Anne Hurston; actress, Camilla Ross; well-known, award-winning poets: Kate Rushin and Rhonda Ward; and playwright, Lisa Giordano. General Admission: $12, Seniors and Students $10. Refreshments will be served. Zora Neale Hurston is considered one of the most important and influential modern American writers who wrote groundbreaking works about the culture and folk traditions of African Americans
