A Place at the Table Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Connecticut Food Bank and the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center are partnering to show A Place at the Table, a documentary that takes a look at hunger in America through the eyes of three people who are struggling with hunger.
After the showing, a lively panel discussion will follow to talk about the economic, social and cultural implications of hunger and what can be done to help make healthy and affordable food accessible to all featuring:
• Carl Asikainen, Community Program Manager for TEEG, North Grosvenordale
• Virginia Mason, President & CEO of the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut
• Keith Fontaine, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, William Backus Hospital And Founder of New London County Food Policy Council
