Cabin Fever Festival and Charity Chowder Cook-Off

Olde Mistick Village merchants will host their 11th annual Cabin Fever Festival and Charity Chowder Cook-Off from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
More than 25 area restaurants and caterers will compete for top awards for best chowder. All awards will be presented by Sen. Andrew Maynard and state Rep. Diana Urban in the Meeting House at 5 p.m. All proceeds from this event benefit the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center Emergency Food Pantry. Tickets, available at a variety of locations throughout the village, are $1 for each 3-ounce cup of chowder or $10 for 12 tickets.
Each restaurant has a sponsoring shop in Olde Mistick Village where space will be set aside to serve chowder.
The festival also offers family entertainment, music and more.
