Kidgits Spring Extravaganza

children will enjoy a morning that includes spring-themed crafts and activities such as creating sand art necklaces and making their own dove of peace from craft sticks, paper, fun googly eyes and a fuzzy craft ball. There will also be a butterfly and baby birds nest activity, a carnival bean bag toss, refreshments and goody bags for the first 50 Simon Kidgits Club members. In addition, Gymboree and JCPenney Portrait Studio will be among the festivities as well.
Kidgits Spring Extravaganza is free to attend for members of the Simon Kidgits Club for children ages 3-8.
Annual membership is $5 and provides access to monthly events and scheduled activities at Crystal Mall. Kidgits Club members receive a variety of goodies, including a Kidgits Club T-shirt, membership card, birthday card and gift and discounts. We are begging everyone to get the word out to anyone who has adopted a pet from the LAC to stop by and say hello. If you can't bring your pet please email me a picture and we will make a picture board to pass along to them. Include the pet's name and the year it was adopted and email to: ledyardchain@gmail.com

We are also going to have a banner to allow residents to write their words of appreciation as a keepsake for the ACOs.
All the money raised from this event will go to the Ledyard Animal Control to buy flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives for the shelter pets!!

Learn to master interview skills and network and market yourself at the Groton Public Library starting Monday.
At 7 p.m., Ashon and Dannika Avent, will start a hold a workshop on “Self-Marketing and Networking.” The series will continue May 21 with “Informational Interviews and Interviews” and will conclude on June 4 with a session on “How to Use LinkedIn.” Workshops will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The Avents are owners of The Main Avent Group LLC. The workshops are free and open to all.
