The New London Currach Rowers (NLCR) will hold their annual Irish Rowing Regatta from the Customs House Pier at the New London Waterfront Park. Come and cheer on the only Connecticut currach club as they race against teams from the North American Currach Association (NACA). As members of NACA, the NLCR promote currach racing and Celtic maritime heritage. A currach is a boat made of waterproof material over a light wood frame, traditionally propelled by means of oars or a sail. Spectators Welcome!

5-6:30 p.m., It’s summer time and there is no better way to practice Yoga than outside, on the water, and on a floating yoga mat! During this one-hour class our instructors will guide you through postures including balance, flexibility, core strength, and relaxation on stand-up paddle boards. This class will consist of a unique style of Vinyasa Yoga where movement is paired with mindful breathing to create a synchronized flow from one pose to the next. Come cultivate awareness while building strength, flexibility, and balance. Wear swim clothes and bring a towel. All levels welcome, equipment provided.

Looking for a new challenge? This fun yet challenging class will reinvigorate you. SUP Yoga will test your balance and core strength. Start with a warm-up paddle to get your blood flowing before we anchor up and move through a unique sequence of exercises. These gentle yoga postures will engage your whole body and involve core strength, balance, flexibility, and mindful breathing. The sound of the ocean will help you relax and allow you to focus on the most important part of yoga, your breath Experienced Yogis welcome, equipment supplied.
