WATERFORDrama presents The Mystery of Edwin Drood
Waterford High School, proudly presents its 44th production….The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The show will take the stage May 5-7 at 7:30pm in the Waterford High School Auditorium.
The Mystery of Edwin Drood is an interactive whodunit mystery musical that allows the audience to enter the action and become the ultimate detectives. The show is based on Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel of the same name. In the small town of Cloisterham, England, the young and charming Edwin Drood has been mysteriously murdered. But by whom?
The show features Waterford High School students Alaina Milukas, Matt McKinize, James Angelopoulos, Lilly McCormick, Kayla Mathiowetz, Nate Hillyer, Liz Dusza, Jonathan Dryden-Jaffe, Sam Amodeo, Dominic Bruno, Andre Mastrandrea, Michael Macesker, Jake Niedojadlo, Sasha Amodeo, Kailtlyn Mangelinkx, Isabel Umland, Natalie Frascarelli, Hannah Niedojadlo, Nali Colon, Sophia Amodeo, Chloe Wilson and Lyman Nuttall. All of the actors play two parts. Each plays an actor of the Music Hall Royale and also the character he or she plays in Music Hall’s production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Wayne has been entertaining audiences with his singing, acting and unmatched improvisational skills for well over a decade. The show returns this year with all new episodes. Wayne went on to host his own syndicated talk show “The Wayne Brady Show” for two seasons. He was honored with two Emmys for Outstanding Talk Show Host and the show also won Outstanding Talk Show. An award winning host, it is no wonder why he has been tapped to host several high-profile shows including the NAACP Awards, BET Honors as well as guest hosting The Late Late Show for a week earlier this year.
