A flower-bearing crewman of the Los Angeles Class attack submarine USS Toledo (SSN 769)walks past the sail headed to the pier as two crewmates use their cell phones as the submarine returns to the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Conn., Friday, October 12, 2012 following a 7-month deployment. Toledo departed March 23 to the European Command area of responsibility and made port calls in Haifa, Israel; Bahrain; Jebel Ali, UAE and Lisbon, Portugal while steaming over 25,000 miles.
