The original mural was painted by Terry "Davo" Davis of New London, in the summer of 1999. The "Save the Ladies" project is supported through a state based grant by the Dept. of Economic and Community Development, but relies on donations in order to match the grant contribution. The artists are estimating a six to eight week time frame for the completion of the project.
