Ann Baldelli is the Community Editor. She formerly was the associate editorial page editor, one of two opinion writers who authors The Day's daily editorials. She is a New London native who has worked at the newspaper since 1978. Before joining the Editorial Board, she worked in the newsroom as a reporter and editor. She was a longtime features writer, covered southeastern Connecticut's casinos and American Indian tribes, New London City Hall, and worked the police, fire and municipal government beats. She's also served as assistant managing editor for local news, city editor and night city editor.
