Noah L. Myers, 43, pleaded guilty to one count of security fraud, which carries a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years and a fine of up to $5 million. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 12 before Judge Stefan R. Underhill.
The state and defense have rested their cases in the murder trial of Mozzelle Brown, who is accused of fatally beating physicist Eugene Mallove in Norwich in 2004. The jury will hear closing arguments from both sides this morning.
