Five Connecticut pitchers combined for 12 shutout innings as the Connecticut Tigers completed a doubleheader sweep of the Tri-City ValleyCats on Tuesday night at Dodd Stadium.

The Connecticut Sun forced six turnovers to start the second half of Sunday's game against the Phoenix Mercury to rip the game open. The Sun won, 94-66, and clinched at least one home playoff game.
