Violin instructor Irene Morose Rissi teaches a group of four and five-year-olds at the Friendship School in Waterford in the Suzuki Method. The school acquired 11 violins through a donation and grant and opened the classes to any interested students. Eight students are currently enrolled in the program which Morose Rissi plans to continue in the next school year as well. Students and their parents attend two classes a week with parents expected to continue the musical immersion daily at home. The students will perform Friday morning May 1st for an all-school assembly.
