The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut will move its headquarters site from Gales Ferry to Waterford by the end of this year, according to chamber officials.
The chamber will move into new regional headquarters in the Waterford Hotel Group building at 914 Hartford Turnpike in Waterford, said Tony Sheridan, chamber president and chief executive officer.
"The move supports our ongoing policy to be centrally located for our membership," said Sheridan. "We're very excited about this new location." The new headquarters can better accommodate the future growth of the chamber and will also include 10 incubator spaces for small-business startups, he said.
With the Valentine's Day holiday approaching, we wanted to see if any of our readers ever received a Valentine's gift that was memorably bad.
