Gary Farrugia became Publisher of The Day Publishing Co. in January, 2002.

Before arriving in New London, Farrugia worked 18 years at The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Day Publishing Company publishes The Day, 15 weekly newspapers, Grace and Sound & Country magazines and www.theday.com and www.Zip06.com.

Farrugia, a native of Detroit, lives in East Lyme with his wife and their two daughters.
