East Lyme

Susan G. Avantino, 47, of 1138 Horsepond Road, Salem, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right and traveling unreasonably fast.

Groton Town

Michael E. Whaley Jr., 22, of 74 Ohio Ave., was charged Saturday with sixth-degree larceny, breach of peace and third-degree assault.

George I. Lopez, 39, of Elizabeth, Ga., was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to obey a traffic-control signal.

Ray A. Iacone, 38, of 159 Buckeye Road, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint and third-degree assault.

Noelle Henderson, 45, of 43-4A South Road was charged Friday with violation of a protective order.

Jocelyn Foster, 23, of 6 Pearl St., Apt. 1, Noank, was charged Friday with third-degree assault and breach of peace.

New London

Melissa Shankle, 42, of 78 West St., B1, was charged Friday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

William Smith, 51, of 77 Adelaide St., was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court and driving with a suspended license.

Teddy Owens, 43, of 36 Starr St., was charged Friday with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny and criminal mischief.

Katherine Lugo, 29, of Norwalk, was charged Friday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Dena Gittens, 40, of 335 Vauxhall St., was charged Saturday with violation of probation.

Orlando Rios, 37, of 43 Bank St., was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance.

Damaris Rivera, 28, of 15 Bragon St. was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance.

Daniel Mangelinkx, 20, of 70 Maple Ave. #2 was charged Friday with violation of probation.

Raymon Clark, 70, of 65 Shaw St., 1A, was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Katrina Kolasa, 37, of 49 Lathrop Road, Uncasville, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and failure to obey a stop sign.

Mariane Mateo, 23, of 103 Laurel Drive was charged Friday with using a cell phone while driving and driving with a suspended license.

Michael Gerovitz, 21, of 23 River Road, Gales Ferry was charged Friday with failure to display front plate, driving with a suspended license and failure to carry insurance.

Norwich

Lincon L. Pretti, 24, of 130 Washington St. #11, was charged Friday with failure to wear a seat belt, driving with a suspended license, second-degree forgery and interference with police.

Tyler R. Stone, 28, of 35 Chestnut St., #208, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and failure to display plates.

David J. McClurg, 29, of 13 Soljer Drive, Waterford was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, traveling unreasonably fast and driving with a suspended license.

Claudio J. Ferrentino, 20, of East Longmeadow, Mass., was charged Friday at Mohegan Sun Casino with possession of alcohol by a minor.

Filemon Perez, 43, of Central Falls, R.I., was charged Saturday in North Stonington with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to grant right of way.

Stonington

David W. Laffarque, 27, of 2 Williams St., Apt. 5, Mystic, was charged Friday with possession of narcotics, possession of heroin with intent to sell and possession of marijuana.

Joell R. Matteson, 19, of 6 Nicholas Lane, Westerly, was charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple trespass.

James D. Mattos, 20, of 16 Cook Hill Road, Griswold, was charged Saturday with second-degree criminal mischief.

A 17-year-old was charged Friday with possession of marijuana and simple trespass.

Waterford

Kyle Prentice, 20, of 29 Vivian St., was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and traveling too fast for road conditions.

Anthony Walker, 26, of 38 Hickory Lane, was charged Thursday with driving with a suspended license, evading responsibility and failure to drive at a reasonable distance.

James Proctor, 25, of 65 Upper Pattagansett Road, East Lyme, was charged Thursday with driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane.
