The important issue behind legalizing abortion was supposedly women's health. The latest medical information about the high cancer rates and emotional problems linked to abortion have been covered up. (Don't believe that? The media hides this in the same way they shielded a chain-smoking presidential candidate).
At least pass laws for mandatory counseling before, during and after the medical procedure. Of course, that will never happen because many will change their minds, which will result in loss of profit.
Whenever abortion-rights advocates ask my opinion about when life begins, my answer leaves them staring like a deer in the headlights: Whether you believe in creationism or evolution, life began a long time ago and is self-perpetuating. The sperm is living, the egg is, too. Both are life. Abort means to "stop the progress of," so what's the big question and debate here?
One anti-life friend said to me: We don't have funerals for dead sperm.
This proves the wisdom of man is an oxymoron, with the emphasis on moron.
