Norwich — The Uncas Health District will conduct a free H1N1 flu vaccination clinic from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Parish Hall, 70 Central Avenue, in the Greenville section of the city.

Only FluMist (nasal spray vaccine) for healthy people ages 2 to 49 will be given. To receive the H1N1 nasal spray vaccine, you cannot have had another nasal spray vaccine or other live vaccine within the last 28 to 30 days, but a seasonal flu shot is okay. FluMist is not for people who are pregnant, allergic to eggs, have asthma or other chronic medical condition. The clinic is open to residents of Bozrah, Colchester, Franklin, Griswold, Lebanon, Lisbon, Montville, Norwich, Preston, Salem, Sprague and Voluntown.

No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For information, call the Uncas Health District at (860) 823-1189, extension 111 or send an e-mail to H1N1@uncashd.org.

This will be the last clinic this week.
