How many tragedies before I-95 is fixed?

I sometimes wonder if the engineers who designed Interstate 95 and the exit/entrance configurations ever made it past eighth grade. Actually, an eighth-grader might have been able to do a better and safer job.
There are a number of places along the highway that bring an exit ramp on a collision course with an entrance ramp, but to me one of the most dangerous is heading south on I-95 and trying to get off at Exit 75.
Not long ago, I was about to do this. Having put on my signal, I looked in both the rearview and side mirrors and started across cautiously. Before I knew it, I was inches - inches - away from a tour bus that was barreling toward the highway along the entrance ramp, totally ignoring my car. Instinctively, I swerved to the left and, fortunately, no car was in that lane.
I don't get off at that exit anymore, preferring to get off at Exit 80, Oil Mill Road, to get to the Post Road on my way to Flanders Four Corners.
How many serious or deadly accidents will it take before something is done to correct this and all other hazardous ramp designs?
