Kenton Robinson's column "For POTUS, why not a bimbo?" published Nov. 21, was devoid of the facts required to back up his opinion that Sarah Palin is a "bimbo." (Defined as "a silly and stupid person, especially a woman, and/or is sexually promiscuous"). Facts:

• Palin is a woman in her mid years.

• She has a large family.

• She is intelligent and articulate.

• She has been successful in her career.

• She has gone fishing and hunting.

• She's not bad looking.

• She has a good looking and apparently faithful husband.

Could this be your mother, sister, daughter or aunt? In Kenton Robinson's view, this qualifies her as a "bimbo."

Sarah Palin has written a book with some 10 pages devoted to her vice-presidential campaign experiences. The balance covers her life experiences and values.

It's beneath Kenton Robinson as a person and journalist to do such a sloppy job of fact-gathering.

I also suggest he be wary of labeling, as the current administration's nine-month or so record is as devoid of fact as his opinion piece.

An apology might help. My wife is still smoldering with anger at Mr. Robinson's insensitivity and arrogance in his use of this term.
