Thankful for freedom to worship openly

I am thankful for being in a land where we can praise God openly, go to church, read our Bibles, and tell others of the goodness of Jesus, without being persecuted.

Thank God for being able to breathe, see, hear, talk, walk and touch without the assistance of another.

My heart is pumping, my lungs are inhaling and exhaling without any problems.

This is the first Thanksgiving the family will not have our mom with us, for she has gone on to be with the Lord, but we, her children - Mary, Wade, Colleen, Rose, Debbie, Janet, William, Jessie and I - know she is in a better place, looking down on all her family with love.

We're thankful we were all able to care for her and our dad while they were with us.

Everybody, just be thankful and grateful for what you have, no matter how small it is.

Be blessed and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
