New London falls to Bethel in semis

Fourth-seeded Bethel stunned top-seeded New London 34-12 in the Class M football semifinals on Tuesday. Peter Gallagher led the Wildcats with three touchdowns, while Whalers quarterback Josh Clements was intercepted three times.
