New London — Power for 1,000 customers was disrupted for two hours this morning after a squirrel managed to get into equipment in a substation in the city, a Connecticut Light & Power spokesman said.
The outage was reported at 8:49 a.m..
The Coast Guard Academy and Connecticut College were also without power during that time.
