Education secretary’s visit postponed

Norwich – Because of a possible vote on the health care bill in the Senate today, a planned visit by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., to Three Rivers Community College today has been canceled.

Duncan and Dodd also had planned to meet with municipal education officials in Hartford today to discuss elementary and secondary education.

No new date for the visit has been scheduled.
