Heroin bust follows traffic stop

Groton - Town police, with assistance from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, arrested two Litton Avenue residents Friday afternoon on drug charges.

Police found David G. Bell, 41, and Priska A. Conrad, 36, both of 33 Litton Ave., in possession of 103 street-sale bags of heroin and $625 in cash during a traffic stop on Poquonnock Road about 4:45 p.m.

Bell was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell. Conrad was charged with possession of heroin.

Groton police encourage anyone with information related to narcotics activity to call the department at (860) 441-6781. All calls and information will be kept confidential.
