Montville - Center Andre Drummond, finally close to full strength after suffering from a stress fracture in his right foot, had 24 points, 12 rebounds and six blocked shots to lead St. Thomas More to a 96-79 men's basketball victory over Eldon Academy (Mich.) on Sunday.
The 6-foot-11 Drummond is a sophomore who transferred to T-More this fall after earning all-state honors at Hartford Capital.
Phil Izevbehai added 18 points for the Chancellors, who improved to 5-0.
Women's hockey
• Connecticut College and Colby College played to a 3-3 tie in a New England Small College Athletic Conference match. Rachel Lindmark scored twice for Conn (1-5-1, 1-4-1). Celia Medeiros also scored and Kelsey Kirker added an assist. Sara Christopher made 17 saves for the Camels.
College swimming
• Conn College's men's and women's teams swam against Coast Guard. The Conn women won 177-116 as Katie Karlson set a school record in winning the 200 breaststroke (2:29.74) and also won the 100 breaststroke (1:08.21). Sarah Murphy won the 100 freestyle (54.20), 200 freestyle (1:57.10) and 100 butterfly (59.28). Kat Arnao won the one- and three-meter diving events.
The Coast Guard men won 201-96. For Conn, Tim Walsh won the 100 (52.55) and 200 backstroke (1:55.24). Pat Troy won the 100 butterly (51.43) and Grant Moryan won the 100 freestyle (48.31).
Men's track
• Conn College junior Shawn Mulcahy of Lebanon finished 11th in the 5K at the Jay Carisella Track and Field Invitational with a time of 15:22.41.
