Norwich — Police on Wednesday arrested a city man on numerous drug charges.
Angel Rodriguez Castillo, 28, of 49 Union St., Apt. 1, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a minor.
At 5:23 p.m., police and agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Agency served a search and seizure warrant at Rodriguez Castillo’s apartment.
Police said they confiscated marijuana, crack cocaine and $1,500 in cash.
Police also determined that he was selling drugs while minor children were in the apartment. The Department of Children and Families was notified, police said.
Rodriguez Castillo is being held on a $100,000 bond, pending his arraignment today in Norwich Superior Court.
