Groton native Glen Miller is out of a job.
Miller and Penn parted ways after the Quakers lost their first seven games. Penn announced the coaching change today.
Miller, a Fitch High School graduate and former UConn assistant, had successful runs as head coach at Connecticut College and Brown University, before taking over at Penn in 2006.
Penn won an Ivy League title and qualified for the NCAA Tournament in Miller's first season but stumbled to a 23-36 overall record the last two seasons.
It's an ugly ending to his Penn career.
