Old Lyme - Catherine Logan had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Elise Beauprez had 10 rebounds and 11 steals to help Old Lyme High School defeat Old Saybrook, 60-48, in a Shoreline Conference girls' basketball on Tuesday.
Megan Devlin had 14 points and Sarah Schmidt had 11 for the Wildcats (3-1).
Amanda King led Old Saybrook (2-2) with 17 points.
In other games:
• Alexa Long scored 21 points and had 16 rebounds as Waterford defeated East Lyme 73-46 in the Eastern Connecticut Conference Large Division.
Adily Martucci scored 17 points for the Lancers (3-1, 3-0). Allison Stoddard had 14 points to lead East Lyme (1-3, 1-2).
• Norwich Free Academy led 35-0 at halftime and went on to a 44-17 victory over Ledyard in the ECC Large Division. Kastine Evans had 10 points for the fifth-ranked Wildcats (5-1, 3-0). Ledyard is 1-3, 0-3.
• Caroline Gosselin had 19 points, 13 rebounds and six steals for Stonington in a 53-46 win over Putnam. Ashley Wheeler added 13 points for the Bears (4-1) and Lia Vann scored 10. Katelyn Tarr scored 34 points for Putnam.
• Katie Mahoney had 23 points for No. 8 Bacon Academy in a 53-33 win over Griswold. Sarah Straker added 12 points for the Bobcats (4-0), while Samantha Rentz had 15 points to lead Griswold (1-3).
• Ashley Walenta had 13 points for St. Bernard in a 40-24 loss to Windham. Stephanie Plasse added eight points for the Saints (3-1).
• Jayne Morris scored 11 points for Grasso Tech in a 38-36 loss to Ellis Tech in Constitution State Conference play. Angelica Davis added eight points for Grasso (2-3).
H.S. wrestling
• Dylan Martel (103), Jacob Bixby (112), Andrew Henault (125), Brandon McNeil (145) and Aaron Wing (189) each won by pinfall as Griswold defeated Lyman Memorial, 63-6, in the ECC Small. Campbell Thornton won by pin at 130 for Lyman. Griswold is 2-0, 1-0; Lyman is 0-2, 0-1.
H.S. ice hockey
• Jerry Theiler and James Stowe each had two goals and two assists in St. Bernard-Bacon's 6-5 loss to Suffield-Granby-Windsor Locks. Scott Steele had 22 saves for the Saints (1-1). Suffield is 2-0.
H.S. swimming
• Waterford's 200 freestyle team of Kevin Cosgrove, David Alfultis, Matt Zimmer and Zach Tryropolis won in 2 minutes, 4.09 seconds in the Lancers' 98-78 loss to defending Class S champion Sacred Heart of Waterbury. Waterford is 0-2; Sacred Heart is 3-0.
