Hosmer - Fridinger

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hosmer of Waterford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley, to Adam Fridinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Fridinger of North Stonington.

Ashley is a 1994 graduate of Waterford High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in exercise and leisure science. She also received a master's degree in elementary education from the University of New Haven in 2003. Ashley is director of recreation and volunteer services at Bride Brook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Adam is a 2000 graduate of Wheeler High School and received a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Central Connecticut State University in 2004. He is the systems administrator for the Groton Public Schools.

An Aug. 27, 2010, wedding is planned.
