Insulting cartoon bad for children

How can The Day continue to publish the comic "Pearls Before Swine?" It's just plain stupid.
The way the crocodile, Larry, speaks is insulting. Some children learn to read with the comics. How can they learn proper English with this garbage?
Plus, the story lines can form a small mind into one who lacks proper education and finds violence amusing.
Please, please, find another comic with more substance which is true humor.
