Griswold - Three Jewett City residents were arrested Sunday after state police say they broke into a home at 71 Lake Road and assaulted a resident there.

Nicholas Euell and Bora Kim, both 22, and Lacia Euell, 23, all of 24 Wedgewood Drive, Apt. 3, in Jewett City, were all charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny.

Nicholas Euell and Kim were also charged with second-degree assault, second-degree threatening, reckless endangerment and unlawful restraint. Kim and Lacia Euell were also charged with interfering with police.

At 3:25 Sunday morning, state troopers responded to the Griswold home and found a victim with injuries that they described as serious but not life-threatening. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Later in the morning, troopers arrested the trio who are scheduled to appear in court today. Police had no other details about the arrests Sunday.
