Norwich - Hospice Southeastern Connecticut will hold classes in March to train volunteers for essential hospice support services to provide to patients, their families and staff.

Volunteers from throughout New London County are needed to serve as pet therapists with certified therapy dogs; as massage therapists, reflexology specialists, and healing touch therapists; as patient-care volunteers to visit patients and provide respite for families; as equipment delivery volunteers; as hair stylists and barbers; and for the rose program.

For information, call Denise Hawk at (860) 848-5699 or send her an e-mail at dhawk@hospicesect.org.
