Once again this year, The Day is running its Peeps competition, in which we invite you to take Easter's favorite candy – Peeps – and turn them into art.

The topic categories are pop culture, local (news or location), and health care reform. The two age categories are family (anyone 16 and under), and adult (17 and older).

You can submit as many entries as you like.

E-mail attached jpegs of your entries to e.bass@theday.com. Include your full name, address, daytime phone number, and which topic and age category you are entering. Deadline for submissions is midnight, Sunday March 21.

Prizes will be given to the winner in both age categories. Prizes are:

• Two sets of 4 tickets to a Connecticut Suns WNBA game this summer

• Two PEEPs candy prize packages, one of which includes a hand-blown glass PEEPS® Chick with Swarovski crystal eyes. The other includes a PEEPS® Tote Bag and baseball cap.

• Publication of the two top winners and other judges' favorites in Daybreak on Sunday, April 4, and on the official PEEPs Web site.
