Shoe Tying Olympics

First and second graders participated in Montville's Dr. Charles E. Murphy Elementary School's first Shoe Tying Olympics. Physical education instructor Lou Rubino and other teachers noticed the need to teach some students how to tie their sneakers. To make it a fun experience Rubino decided to create an Olympic competition-style lesson to get the students excited and keep them motivated to learn.
